Air conditioning foil is a special material for manufacturing heat exchanger fins for air conditioners. The early used air conditioning foil was plain foil. In order to improve the surface properties of plain foil, anti-corrosion inorganic coating and hydrophilic organic coating are coated before forming to form hydrophilic foil.
It is widely used in refrigeration equipment such as household industrial air conditioner, refrigerator, automobile air conditioner and so on. In addition, there is a hydrophobic foil, which makes the surface of the fin have the function of hydrophobicity and prevents condensate from adhering. It is mainly used in the dryer to improve the heating efficiency.
The thickness of air conditioning foil is 0.07mm ~ 0.2mm. With the development of technology, air conditioning foil has a trend of further thinning.
Hydrophilic aluminum foil surface has strong hydrophilicity. The hydrophilic property is determined by the angle formed by water sticking to the surface of aluminum foil. The smaller the angle a is, the better the hydrophilicity is, on the contrary, the worse the hydrophilicity is. Generally speaking, the angle of a is less than 35. It belongs to hydrophilic property.
Hydrophilic aluminum foil is generally used on the evaporator of air conditioner. Its main function is to make the water in the hot air easy to spread and flow down the sheet when it condenses into water droplets on the heat exchange sheet. This can avoid affecting the ventilation effect of the heat exchanger due to the "bridging" of water droplets between the heat exchangers, so as to improve the heat exchange rate of the air conditioner and save electric energy under the condition of the same refrigeration capacity.
Previously, the general hydrophilic aluminum foil on the market not only has good hydrophilicity on the surface, but also has high corrosion resistance, so as to optimize the performance of air conditioning.
