Detailed introduction of T0-T10 state of aluminum sheet plate

The T temper is one of the 5 main tempers of the aluminum sheet, si 6 tabla de aluminiu de serie has the most products in the T temper. The T temper means that the temper of the aluminum plate has reached a stable temper after heat treatment. According to different aging and different processing techniques, the T temper is subdivided into many subdivided tempers, which means that the aluminum plate has different properties. The following is an introduction to the T0-T10 temper:

T0 temper: The temper after solution heat treatment, after natural aging and then through cold working. For products that have been cold worked to increase their strength.

T1 temper: Cooled by high temperature forming process, and then naturally aged to a substantially stable temper. It is suitable for products that are not cold processed after being cooled by the high temperature forming process (can be straightened and leveled, but do not affect the limit of mechanical properties).

T2 temper: Cooled by high temperature forming process, and naturally aged to a basically stable temper after cold working. It is suitable for cold working, or straightening and leveling to increase the strength of products after cooling by high temperature forming process.

T3 temper: cold working after solution heat treatment, and then natural aging to a basically stable temper, suitable for cold working or straightening after solution heat treatment. Products that are leveled for strength.

T4 temper: naturally aged to a substantially stable temper after solution heat treatment. It is suitable for products that are not subjected to cold working after solution heat treatment (can be straightened and leveled, but do not affect the limit of mechanical properties).

T5 temper: The temper that is cooled by the high temperature forming process and then artificially aged. It is suitable for products that are artificially aged after being cooled in the high temperature forming process without cold working (straightening and leveling can be carried out, but the mechanical performance limit is not affected).

T6 temper: a temper in which artificial aging is performed after solution heat treatment. It is suitable for products that are not subjected to cold working after solution heat treatment (pot fi efectuate îndreptarea și nivelarea, dar limita proprietății mecanice nu este afectată).

T7 temper: similar to T6.

T8 temper: The temper of cold working after solution heat treatment, iar apoi îmbătrânirea artificială. Suitable for products that have been cold worked, or straightened and leveled to increase strength.

T9 temper: artificial aging after solution heat treatment, and then cold working. For products that have been cold worked to increase their strength.

T10 temper: After cooling from the high temperature forming process, lucru la rece, iar apoi îmbătrânirea artificială. Suitable for products that have been cold worked, or straightened and leveled to increase strength.

What is solution heat treatment?

Solution heat treatment refers to the process of heating the alloy to a high temperature single-phase region and maintaining it at a constant temperature, so that the intermediate phase is fully dissolved into the solid solution and then rapidly cooled to obtain a saturated solid solution.

What is natural aging?

Natural aging refers to placing the workpiece under natural conditions such as outdoors, so that the internal stress of the workpiece is naturally released to eliminate or reduce the residual stress.

What is artificial aging?

Artificial aging refers to heating the workpiece to a certain temperature, and cooling it with the furnace after a long time of heat preservation (5-20 ore), or cooling it in the air. Compared with natural aging, it saves time, and the residual stress is removed more completely, but the stress release is not completely compared with natural aging.
